Hi my name is Sam and I'm a person who plays piano

Though you already must know that if you're getting my reports

My writing starts clean then might go south, like the career of Jessie Spano

Endearing but sometimes goofy, like a person whose laughs include snorts

The summer has been a nice one, many positive things've been brewing

Been working on a few things at once, the to-do list items are queuing

The real life version of simultaneous juicy fruit, bubble-yum and trident chewing.

And the good news is, there's a couple fresh items that we are debuting!

"Take Me With You," the quirky love tale by the Alter Ego

Was featured on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" most recent show

It really holds the scene together (people told me, i'm not being snooty)

Like custom jeans hold together the sweet cheeks of Kim K's ginormous booty.

We all know the Kardashians do not need another viewer

So tune in only if you don't consider them audio-visual manure

There's a brand new Alter Ego facebook page, with fabulous design

By Iris B. Communications (and art by Margarita Korol, both artistically divine)

So we ask you to go "like" us, but just to grovel would be untoward

So we're giving away a free download of our newest track as a reward!

get your free track, and see the kardashian video here:

We also have a song in a new CBS online series called "Around the world for free"

Check it out on CBS.com if you get tired of your actual TV

Add to that a steady diet of performing and writing with various folks

And life has been tasty and healthy, like an omelette without egg yolks

This month brings us around the country and across the planet

Jumping around doing shows like Rhythm Nation-era Janet

Chicago on August 11, LA on the 7 and 17

Red Sea Jazz Festival 21-22, so y'all know what I mean

Keep in touch and enjoy the heat

I hope the rest of your summer is especially sweet
