The Barsh report is back, and it's almost Halloween

Tryin' to figure out my costume, will i be nice, dumb, or mean?

Should I dress as David Bowie, or maybe Brian Eno?

Future Governor Cuomo, or crazy Carl Paladino?

Should I dress as a casino game, like craps roulette or keno?

Or as one of the kooky characters from 30 Rock or Reno (911)?

Maybe I'll be Britney, wear no undies and a dress

Or Rahm Emanuel, and have my head explode from stress

I could be Glenn Beck, wear a headset and pretend I'm at a rally

Meg Whitman, or better yet, her illegal housekeeper Sally (not real name)

I could be The Dude, wear slippers and carry a bowling ball

I could be a newborn baby, cry alot, spit up and crawl

I could be a booking agent, and not answer your phone call

Or I could be Michael Keaton's career, and not go out at all

Whatever I end up being/doing on October 31

Will not compare to the next week's musical run

Chicago for 1 night only, for Jesse Palter's Chi swan song

The Blue Note NYC with my band, where you really can't go wrong

"Lose Your Mind" in Brooklyn with me, Joe Blaxx and Maurice Brown

So basically i'll be spreading my musical seed all over (3 different) town

Yes, Jesse is saying goodbye to Chicago, with a touch of sadness

But moving to LA with a boatful of gladness

Her love for the midwest is surely not lost

But she's ready to pursue her dream at whatever the cost

Los Angeles is where Jesse's career is primed to blossom

So if you have any magic beans, then westward you may toss them!

That's the word for now, hope you all find lovely costumes

And that you and your Halloween dates hit it off, and end up sharing hot rooms
