Launch of Jesse Palter and the Alter Ego new EP!

So as promised, although a little late,

Is the debut of a project that I think is more than great.

I've been working real hard on it for the past few months or so

And now Jesse Palter and the Alter Ego EP is finally a go!

Jesse and I cowrote and produced the 4 songs you will hear

The music and the message are things we both do hold dear

Stylistically, think upbeat pop, with a tinge of jazz and soul

With Jesse's gorgeous voice, catchy songs, and some Barsh ear candy, musicwise we reached our goal

Along with this new music, which i'm sure you will enjoy

Is a brand new myspace page and an inventive selling ploy

Since we live in the age where you can easily get tunes for free

We offer you the choice to pay what you want for our EP!

You can pay whatever amount you feel (and we hope that you feel plenty)

But if you're low on funds its cool, cuz the minimum is a penny!

Whatever you give, you'll receive an email with a link to download the tracks

There are also special gifts that come with different moolah stacks

So please enjoy the sights and sounds of the following 2 links

They've been live for a little over a week, and i think we've worked out all the kinks.

And if you feel inclined, please write and let me know about this what you think.

Pay what you feel for the

Four score and 85,048 days ago
This country was created, and it's been a great run, yo
(In case you were wondering, I spent about 2.5 minutes doing that math
But it was time well spent for the country which has provided the backdrop for both the New Jack City and The Grapes of Wrath)

I hope you all had a great time in celebration
Of another free and fabo year since the USA's creation
And in honor of the 3rd day after the 4th of july
I decided to write you a Barsh report, with humour both wretched and wry

The news of the day is threefold, with each piece its own fabulous morsel
Each will be talked about in the Barsh-iest way, meaning neither too shy nor too forceful
The first is most pressing- this friday in fact, The Barsh Band is playing an early set
At the famed Bitter End, so pop in with a friend, hear some tunes an get your gullet wet (deets are below)

After show, since we're ending it early, there'll be a party at a friend's nearby rooftop place
I'm keeping the details DL till that night, so to find out where we're going you gots to show your face

The next item of business will have its own email quite soon
Jesse Palter and the Alter Ego (my collabo with Jesse P, a gorgeous lady who can really f#$%cking croon)
Has 4 finished tracks and brand new website, to be launched later today, so stay aptly tuned........

Finally, a project I have been talking about for a while now called The Years
Has been released! And is at this link for your ears:

www.theyears.fm

Theres a free download of the whole album for a couple weeks
And it's guaranteed to put a smile between your tanned, bearded, acne-covered (hopefully not) or rosy cheeks
Also on that site is the Years Mixtape, 15 tracks of hard-grooving instrumentals
That are sure to be 100% more pleasurable than having to put your credit card down for hotel room incidentals

OK, stay tuned for more music soon
